Cents Ability is looking for caring and energetic individuals who want to make a difference in underserved communities. With volunteer opportunities both in and out of the classroom, we look for people to participate in the following areas:
Volunteer Teachers
As a financial literacy organization, volunteer teachers are the heart and soul of Cents Ability and play an integral role in communicating our valuable message to high school students. All teachers complete a 2-hour training session and first-time teachers are initially paired up with veteran teachers.
Committee Members
Volunteers interested in taking a proactive approach in growing the organization can get involved in one of Cents Ability’s committees and play a critical role in fundraising, training and curriculum development and strategic relationship-building initiatives with corporations and like-minded non-profit organizations.
Advisors
We look for seasoned individuals from the corporate and non-profit worlds to join our advisory board to provide strategic oversight and direction to the organization.
