
WISE Speakers Bureau at John Adams High School, Ozone Park, Queens
Tap into you inner Tony Robbins and inspire high school teens about their future! We are seeking volunteers to speak to an auditorium of 100-150 students at John Adams High School in the Ozone Park area of Queens. Volunteers can speak about one or all of the following topics; Education for Careers in Finance, Budgeting in College, The Federal Reserve.

Advise a Virtual Enterprise team!
Volunteer to advise and coach HS students to launch their Virtual Enterprise at the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis HS for International Careers, 120 West 46th St. btwn 6th and 7th Ave.
Join the Virtual Enterprise class taught by Ms. Vaccaro, Virtual Enterprise Coordinator, and serve as an advisor to help students develop a business plan to launch a virtual enterprise. High School students across NYC participate in the business plan competition on December 10, 2010 to launch an online business. Once their business plans are approved, each team plan and prepare for the citywide Virtual Enterprise Trade Show in April. This is a great opportunity to inspire young entrepreneurs!
Although the Virtual Enterprise classes are held Monday thru Friday from 8:51am - 10:21am and 11:56am - 1:25pm, volunteers are not expected to participate on a daily basis for both sessions.Volunteers can choose the morning session 9am - 10am or the afternoon session 12noon - 1pm; and choose the day of the week that works best for their schedule.
Help young adults get their finances on track for the New Year!
In partnership with the Lower East Side People's Federal Credit Union, Cents Ability is facilitating monthly workshops to community residents ages 18-24 about personal finance.
We are seeking volunteers to help set up a Cents Ability classroom on Saturday, January 22nd at 9am. Join us for a paint party with a purpose - to get the Cents Ability classroom set up for our first class on Thursday, January 27th from 5pm - 6pm.
If you are not available on January 27th, we are recruiting volunteers to teach monthly workshops using the Cents Ability curriculum.
Teach the Cents Ability class at the High School for Economics and Finance!
In partnership with WISE, we are seeking volunteers to teach the Cents Ability class at the High School for Economics and Finance located at 100 Trinity Place, NYC 10006.
The Cents Ability class is scheduled every Wednesday, starting February 2nd for 8 consecutive sessions, from 1:20pm - 2:20pm.
As a WISE school, the High School for Economics and Finance is a great opportunity to empower students with the personal finance skills to achieve their future goals!
Teach teens the fundamentals of personal finance!
Cents Ability is collaborating with ELLIS Prep Academy to teach their seniors the fundamentals of personal finance. ELLIS Prep is a school located in the Bronx serving English Language Lerners, who are newly arrived immigrants. We are seeking volunteers who can support their language acquisition and teach the financial life skills necessary to succeed in this country.
All classes will be taught on Monday and Wednesdays from 3pm - 5pm at Societe Generale, 1221 Avenue of the Americas, NYC.
